Our Story
Dennis got his start making cabinets in the early 1980s in a custom cabinet shop here in Columbia. After a couple of years, he moved back to his hometown of Monroe City and started Carson Cabinet & Woodworking. For the last 37 years, Dennis has enjoyed the work of designing and creating beautiful custom woodwork for kitchens and bathrooms in Monroe City and the surrounding area. Fueled by a steadfast commitment to integrity and excellence, Carson Cabinet & Woodworking has earned a solid and trusted reputation over the years. We believe a successful business is built one satisfied customer at a time.
Now the next generation is ready to carry on the tradition of timeless craftsmanship. Jeff has worked alongside his dad over the years and is ready to take Carson Cabinets into the future. We are expanding our service area; bringing the same experience, integrity, and excellence in custom cabinetry to Columbia and the Mid-Missouri area. As we grow, we’re coming back to where it all began almost 40 years ago. We’re grateful for our history and excited to write a new chapter. We hope to serve you along the way.
